A Disappearing Desktop
Today, I was suddenly faced with a Desktop that had disappeared. Instead of being a representation of the Desktop folder, it was just a background picture. No icons on it, nothing could be dragged onto it. A second user was not affected. I happened after a couple of Fast User Switches (FUS), after one switch, the Desktop simply remained blank.
